As expected, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi has unveiled its Redmi Note 4X in the China on February 8, and the device will go on sale from February 14. However, the company also known as Apple of China has not revealed the full specification of the phone which is a small upgrade over its younger sibling Redmi Note 4 that was launched in India last year.
As per the details go, the smartphone will come in five colour variants — Champagne Gold, Cherry Powder, Platinum Silver Grey, Matte Black, and special edition Hatsune Miku in limited numbers.
As the previous leaks suggested, the smartphone has full metal unibody design along with antenna lines that are located on the top section giving the mobile a seamless and elegant look. Xiaomi has launched Redmi Note 4X with two processor variants. Chinese variant boasts MediaTek Helio X20 while in India the device will come with the Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor. Like its predecessor, the phone will come with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box.
The device is fronted with 5.5-inch (1080×1920 pixels) full HD display with 2.5D glass panel. It has 13-megapixel shooter installed on the back of the smartphone to click sharp photos and a 5-megapixel selfie shooter for gorgeous selfies. The phone also has a snappy fingerprint sensor on the back panel just below the rear camera.
The smartphone packs a huge battery of 4,100 mAh to deliver juice for the entire day. Users can easily expect the device to last around one and a half days on medium usage before dying. In addition, the device will come in two storage options –2GB of RAM with 32GB of onboard storage and 4GB of RAM with 64GB of onboard storage.
On the connectivity front, Redmi Note 4X includes hybrid SIM card slots which mean users can install either two SIM cards or they can use one slot for installing a micro sd card. Other connectivity options include 4G with VoLTE support, Wi-Fi, USB and Bluetooth.
Moreover, Xiaomi expected to reveal the price of Redmi Note 4X just before the sale on February 14.
