The Chinese mobile handset manufacturer, Xiaomi reported in a press invite that the company is going to unveil its Xiaomi Mi 4, the flagship device of 2015 in India on January 28, 2015. It was earlier reported by the TeCake that the company is going to unveil Mi 4 at the end of this month that will go on sale in February.
The Mi 4 will be running on updated version of MIUI 6 based on Android KitKat 4.4.3, boast a 2.5Ghz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. It is featured with a 5 inches 1080p OGS Corning Gorilla Glass 3 full lamination display with a pixel density of 441 ppi. For trending selfie shooting among smartphone users the company has provided a new 8MP front facing camera, meanwhile its primary camera remains the same as Mi 3, which is 13 megapixel with LED Flash, Sony IMX214 BSI sensor and 4K video recording. The droidphone is fueled with 3,080mAh battery that can juice up the high-performance device for a whole day after getting it fully charged.
As far connectivity is concerned, the phone has various connectivity options like, 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4/5 GHz), WiFi Direct, Bluetooth and GPS. Moreover, the device measures 139.2 x 68.5 x 8.9mm in dimensions and weighs 149 grams.
Moreover, like other Xiaomi smartphones, it is expected from the company that the Mi 4 will also go on sale exclusively on Flipkart via the same flash sale model at a price between Rs. 17,000 – Rs. 20,000, as the price for the device, is yet to be revealed. According to the company’s previous reports, it will stick to its ‘Online Only’ strategy in selling their products in Indian smartphone market if it gets an active response on Redmi Note 4G handset.
