As earlier revealed the new Xiaomi smartphones will be launching tomorrow, but a new update from the company stated that the devices will be Amazon exclusive. Xiaomi via its twitter handle dropped a hint indicating a Redmi device launch in exclusive partnership with Amazon India. Xiaomi as well as Amazon India has tweeted the teaser simultaneously with the hashtag #TimeToGetSmarter.
As per the reports, Xiaomi has sent out invites for its 20th march event in New Delhi that would mark the launch of four smartphones.

The smartphones that would be launched at this event include the Xiaomi Redmi 4, Xiaomi Redmi Prime, Xiaomi Redmi 4X and Xiaomi Redmi 4A. Some of these above-mentioned devices have already made their debut in the Chinese markets whereas their launch at the Indian markets is still hugely awaited, until now.
This entire RedMi series is expected to be the successor to last year’s RedMi 3 series, which was hugely popular among the buyers. The devices that are due launch have made significant improvising in their specifications so as to be enticing enough for all segment of buyers.
RedMi 4A would include a 5-inch HD display and a Snapdragon 425 chipset. It would feature a 2GB RAM and a 16 GB/ 32 GB internal storage. Whereas Redmi 4 would have a slightly better spec sheet in terms of the RAM and the processor as it comes with a Snapdragon 625 and a 3GB RAM. Along the same line, both the RedMi 4 and RedMi 4A would have slightly different battery backup at 4100 mAH and 3120 mAH respectively, yet both would be equipped with the quick charging support.
RedMi 4 Prime would feature a 5-inch HD display and a Snapdragon 625 SoC, which is better that the one provided in the RedMi 4A and RedMi 4. Apart from this. it would be housing a 3GB RAM and a 32 GB inbuilt storage. RedMi 4X would have a 5-inch HD display and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 chipset; other than that all the specifications of the individual phones remain the same in the series.
All the smartphones in the RedMi 4 series would come with a 13 MP rear and 5 MP front cameras and would run on an Android 6.0 Marshmellow. The support for the VoLTE technology is included in smartphones in each of these models. The As per some rumours doing rounds on the social media, Xiaomi might be intending to launch its next flagship device due launch in April with an Android 7.0 Nougat update.
