Xiaomi, the Chinese Multinational, as expected revealed its most-awaited Mi Note 2 in China. On Thursday, Xiaomi at its official event ‘Curved to Impress’ in Beijing wrapped off curtain from the long-rumoured Mi Note 2 with three storage variants. As announced by Xiaomi, Mi Note 2 with 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage model will cost CNY 2,799 (around Rs. 27,600), while the 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage model is priced at CNY 3,299 (approximately Rs. 32,600), and the Global Edition 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage will cost CNY 3,499 (about Rs. 34,500) in Chinese market.
In terms of features, Mi Note 2 sports 5.7-inch full-HD Oled flexible display which is mated on 1080×1920 pixels resolutions. Powered by 2.35GHz quad-core Snapdragon 821 Performance Edition SoC, Mi Note 2 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Backed by a 4070mAh battery and Quick Charge 3.0 technology, this top-of-the-line smartphone is spotted with a fingerprint scanner on the home button.
Among other features, Mi Note 2 has a 22.56-megapixel primary camera powered by a Sony IMX318 Exmor RS sensor and an 8-megapixel Sony IMX268 Exmor RS sensor in the front. Both cameras are empowered by LED flash. The connectivity section of Mi Note 2 is packed with NFC connectivity, with compatibility for Mi-Pay, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/-AGPS, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, and USB Type-C. For finest sound quality, Mi Note 2 is enriched with the Aqstic audio processor, powered by 192 kHz/24-bit Hi-Fi.
With two colour variants like Piano Black and Glacial Silver colour variants, Mi Note 2 is expected to available in the retail outlets shortly. But Indian market has to wait until next year to get this phone on hand, as Xiaomi previously has confirmed the no-launch plan of Mi Note 2 in India.
