Xiaomi Mi Max goes out of stock in few seconds in first flash sale

The first flash sale of recently launched Xiaomi Mi Max smartphone was held on Wednesday via its official online store, Mi.com. The company revealed that the units for the first sale went out of the stock within few seconds.

However, Xiaomi didn’t utter a word about how many units were sold during the sale. It announced that the next flash sale will be conducted on July 13 at the same platform and registrations for the same are open.

Xiaomi India Head, Manu Jain tweeted, “#MiMax – today’s flash sale got over in few secs. It will be available across all platforms starting 13th July. @XiaomiIndia.”

The Mi Max is a super slim phablet which flaunts a 6.44-inch display. It is just 7.5 mm thick and weighs 203g. The ultra-slim smartphone also features a 16-megapixel of rear camera with PDAF and LED Flash, which is clubbed with a fingerprint scanner at its back. While, it is fronted with a 5-megapixel of secondary image snapper.

The smartphone runs on MIUI7, however, the users will get MIUI 8 public beta update over-the-air, starting from July 11, the company said. While, the stable version will be rolled out on August 16. Mi Max, launched in China runs on MIUI 8 OS , which features  improved design, power saving mode, better Notes App, a new Notifications bar, multi-window management mode for apps, advanced calculator and allows user to change filters with a tap, doodle on pictures, add stickers, and comes with advanced video-editing features.

The Xiaomi Mi Max handset is powered by Qualcomm 650 hexa-core processor which is coupled with 3GB of RAM. On storage front, the Xiaomi Mi Max comes with a 32GB of internal storage that comes with an expandability option up to 128GB by using a micro SD card.

The 4G LTE Xiaomi Mi Max smartphone supports dual-SIM connectivity besides Bluetooth, GLONASS, Wi-Fi and GPS/A-GPS as connectivity options.The handset is fueled with a 4850 mAh of non-removable battery.
