WhatsApp is adding ‘Stickers’ support on its platform

WhatsApp has officially added the stickers feature across the board allowing iOS and Android users the freedom to send the ever-growing numbers of stickers.

Almost every social messaging app has stickers that you can send to anyone you like, of course. So, the same feature was not available on WhatsApp which is indeed one of the most popular messaging apps in the world with more than a billion users and the number is growing staggeringly. WhatsApp has officially added the stickers feature across the board allowing iOS and Android users the freedom to send the ever-growing numbers of stickers.

You can access the stickers simply by tapping the ‘Stickers’ icon next to the text input field beside GIF and Emojis. WhatsApp designers are working towards growing the stickers on the platform while the Facebook-owned company has roped in few artists to design and upload stickers with a dimension of 512×512 pixels and the size of less than 100 KB.

Further, WhatsApp has added support to third-party stickers that you can download from Google Play Store (Android) and App Store (Apple) so that you can use even the third-party stickers. Further, WhatsApp has added a Facebook-like sticker system where the user will have to download the sticker pack to access similar stickers. WhatsApp is actively working towards growing the number of stickers on its platform so it won’t take much time for the people to get the said update soon.
