whatsapp to launch its web version for free video and audio call

As per the rumors, one of the most popular messaging application, WhatsApp Inc. is going to launch ‘WhatsApp Web’. As per the reports, the large user base will soon be able to see a new application called ‘WhatsApp Web,’ which has been rumored to have free video and audio calling service.

WhatsApp Web is expected to come with all the features where users cannot only send and receive text messages but also the voice messages. Users will avail all the features they enjoy on the mobile WhatsApp.

As per the reports, the WhatsApp Web is not going to require a combination of username or password. However, a valid mobile number is required to avail the services. Probably, the authentication will be done with the QR codes or any other method for that matter.

Until now, WhatsApp Inc haven’t been able to provide its mobile users with the free video and voice calling with their phone, however, it has been speculated that the Facebook acquired company will launch it anytime this year. Reports suggest that the mobile app users will be able to avail free voice and video calling service from the WhatsApp, but after it is launched in the web version.

Koum says, “WhatsApp’s extremely high user engagement and rapid growth are driven by the simple, powerful and instantaneous messaging capabilities we provide. We’re excited and honored to provide calling facilities to the users”.

Since all of these are simply rumors, we cannot tell you a confirm date about when it is to be launched. WhatsApp by Facebook is reportedly testing all these features and will probably release them for people in general in the month of February.

However, its parent company has already bundled the audio calling service in its Messenger app. With Messenger by Facebook, any user can easily make calls to the other individual.
