Researchers unearth dinosaur skeleton with tissue intact; Watch Video

Dinosaur Extinction

Investigators have found a creature body with flesh and bones that match the dinosaurs. Mystery as partially-preserved remains resembling a dinosaur is found with tissue still on its bones in India.

Specialists have been left mystified after the body of a creature matching a dinosaur was found with flesh still on its bones. Experts are puzzled by the shape and structure of the body as it has a notable similarity to the dinosaurs. It has been given for carbon dating to know the real age.

The partly protected remains were found by an electrician wiping out a substation that left untouched from last 35 years in Jaspur, a small city in Uttarakhand, India.

It was not possible for a dinosaur skeleton to be so well conserved after so long, Aaryan Kumar, who is continuing a PhD in Paleontology from Delhi University, told local media. He said, “It looks like a dinosaur, but we can’t say anything until all the tests are done.”

Kumar said,”Non-avian dinosaurs have been gone for the past 65 million years, but it does relate theropods, a suborder of dinosaurs which involved bipedal carnivores.”

“But a dinosaur skeleton could not have been found in such a well-preserved situation after millions of ages without it being in a fossilized condition. The only slightly possible way is it was chemically preserved to save it in a repository. But if that was the situation, how did it end up here?”

The Deinonychus, the Coelophysis and the Dromaeosaurus are among the dinosaurs that relate the shape of the 28cm-long strange creature. They are all types of theropods, a suborder of dinosaurs that varies in size from the mighty T-Rex to the small Anchiornis.

Dr Dhakate stated the specimen had now been sent to Dr Bahadur Kotlia, a palaeontologist at Kumaun University, for historical investigation.

One initial suspicion is that it could be a genetically deformed animal foetus from within the goat family, but for now, the puzzle continues unsolved.

Dinosaurs are a different group of reptiles of the clade Dinosauria. They first arrived during the Triassic period, between 243 and 231 million years ago, although the actual origin and timing of the evolution of dinosaurs is the matter of active research. This species had gone vanished from Earth nearly 65-million-years ago, the only way we can see them now is by animated graphics, but then here is the latest news that fired up the science department.
