Vodafone offers freebies worth Rs 8895 with iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus

The leading mobile operator, Vodafone has announced that the firm is offering ‘six months of free data’ to its new or old postpaid users on the pre-ordering of iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. The offer is valid only if customers books their new handset on and from the seller, “Cloudtail’. Also, the free data will be revoked if the user returns the smartphone.

With the Vodafone Red 1299 Plan with the handset, the users can take advantage of 3GB of 3G data, 4000 local or STD minutes and 1500 local or national SMS. However, if the limit has been crossed the subscriber will be charged accordingly, 50 paise per SMS, 50 paise per voice minute and 50 paise per MB of internet data used.

“Existing or new Vodafone customers can buy a new iPhone 6s or iPhone 6s Plus and get a fully built Vodafone RED 1,299 worry-free plan free for six months from the time of purchase,” the company said in a statement.

After the global launch, the Cupertino giant has announced that the latest iPhone 6s and 6s Plus are going to debut in Indian markets on October 16. The Indian e-commerce giant, Flipkart has also listed the handsets on its website.

The new flagship smartphones are also available for pre-bookings at all major retail stores across the country. The prices for pre-order for the device starts from Rs. 62,000, which is tagged for the lowest storage variant, 16GB of iPhone 6s, meanwhile, consumers can pre-order the other variants including iPhone 6s with 64GB and 128GB of storage at a price of Rs. 72,000 and Rs. 82,000, respectively.

A senior executive with a leading mobile retail brand said, “Except for the iPhone 6 16GB, the rest of the numbers are relevant. The iPhone 6 16GB is selling for around Rs 48500. Prices for the new phones are upward. The trend is similar to a commodity and are fluctuating.”
