What the QOIE app does is, it brings markets, malls, and Hi-street stores on a common platform so as to serve consumers with location wise information. In QOIE, there are more than 1.5 lakh retailers stocking 400-plus national brands. The app aims to cover 35 cities across India by 2019. QOIE director Manish Agarwal said that their main target is to change the way customer make their purchase decision and they feel that the future lies in going ‘Phygital’ because QOIE blends both physical and digital to create a healthy connection between the retailers and consumers for a seamless experience. He also added that as almost 95 percent sale in the retail industry still happens offline and also many people are using smartphones nowadays, so they are encouraging people to Search Offline and Shop Offline.
This unique initiative is supported by promoters of Rupa & Co. Siddhant Agarwal, vice president, M&A, Rupa & Co. Ltd said that they have already earmarked 5 crores to take QOIE national very soon. QOIE offers browsing of across 22 various categories, and it is available for download for both Android as well as iOS users.
