Sony Xperia Dual Z5 - The TeCake

As per the earlier reports, Sony India has unveiled its Xperia Z5 Dual and Z5 Dual premium, world’s first mobile phones with a 4K display. The company has priced the handsets at Rs. 52,990 and Rs. 62,990, respectively.

Sony is trying to attract the potential buyers by offering them to redeem Smart Cover worth Rs. 3500 from Xperia Lounge for free. It also enables the users to access to content worth Rs. 4000, which includes a three months of subscription to Sony Music, Sony LIV and free Amazon Kindle e-books worth Rs. 1000. The phones come with full HD games pre-installed on it and a ‘Hungama Play’ subscription.

The Xperia Z5 is available in stores starting 23rd October and the Z5 premium is launching on 7th November. Pre-bookings for the latter have begun and those who pre-book will get an MDR-EX31BN worth Rs. 5490 for free.

The Xperia Z5 Dual and Xperia Z5 Premium smartphones come with 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor, 3GB RAM, 23-megapixel of rear camera and 5-megapixel of front-facing camera,  Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and a 32GB of internal storage.

But both of the handsets differ from their display and battery capacity, as the Xperia Z5 Dual is fronted with a 5.2-inch IPS display 1080×1920 pixels of resolution and 2900 mAh of battery, while the Xperia Z5 Premium Dual smartphone boasts a 5.5-inch 4k IPS display with 2160×3840 pixels of resolution and over 800 pixels per in of pixel density, which makes its ‘world’s first smartphone featuring a 4K display’. It is fueled with a larger 3430 mAh of battery to support the better and stunning display.
