Sony Live Screen Streaming App TeCake

The Japanese Electronics giant, Sony has rolled out a LIVE Streaming app for some of its selected Xperia Series smartphones. The new screen recording app enables the users to play games on their phone and simultaneously broadcast it live, meanwhile, users can also store the recorded gameplay video on their local storage.

The ‘Sony Live Screen Streaming‘ enables users to let their Twitch or YouTube followers to watch them playing LIVE.

The list of Xperia smartphones that will support the new broadcasting app includes Xperia Z3+, Xperia Z4, Xperia Z4v, or the Xperia Z4 Tablet. The app is available at Google Play Store to download.

It is intended to broadcast the games, however, it also allows to transmit whatever the mobile’s display is showing to Twitch or YouTube. This app can be used for pretty much anything and would be helpful for users in every way if people won’t broadcast infringing material or inappropriate content, the company says.

Sony Mobile Communications further explained, “A verified YouTube account in good standing is required to use this app for YouTube and you need to turn on the live feature in your YouTube account here This app uses Google Analytics to collect and aggregate usage statistics in order to help us improve the application and our services, none of this data can be used to identify you.”

The app provided by Sony Mobiles in association with Twitch and YouTube will not be available in Germany and countries where YouTube and Twitch is not available.
