Samsung is launching its budget Samsung Galaxy M series on January 28 on Amazon exclusively. This will mark the onset of Samsung’s budget M series that will be launched in India first before flagging its official global launch later.

The Samsung Galaxy M series comprises of lower-end Galaxy M10, mid-range Galaxy M20, and higher-end Galaxy M30 sporting an Infinity-V IPS LCD display. The Infinity-V display features a stunning teardrop shaped notch with thin bezels around the edges.

Galaxy M series is being launched in India to cater to Indian millennial consumers and will carry features like larger battery, ultra-wide angle camera and fast charging capability which are few key aspects that users in India are looking forward to. Also, Samsung is competing with Chinese OEM Xiaomi after the latter overtook as the largest smartphone brand in India by the end of 2017.

Samsung’s sales are plunging although it is currently the largest smartphone maker w.r.t. units shipped annually shipping more than 100mn units than Chinese OEM Huawei which recently clocked more than 200mn units shipped in 2018 while overtaking Apple on a global scale.

Per the specs, Galaxy M10 features a hefty 3,400 mAh battery sporting 6.0-inch IPS LCD display with 3GB RAM and Exynos 7870 chipset which is the in-house chipset for Samsung apart from the equivalent Qualcomm chips that might not be offered in India if at all offered. The higher variant Galaxy M20 offers a 6.13-inch 1080p+ IPS LCD display with Infinity-V teardrop notch and a larger 5,000 mAh battery. It sports a dual 13+5MP rear cam and a front 8MP sensor with Exynos 7885 SoC.

Finally, the third and the higher in the Galaxy M series is the Galaxy M30 sporting a larger 6.38-inch IPS LCD display with a chunky 5,000 mAh Li-Po battery and an Exynos 7885 octa-core SoC and 4GB RAM.

Finally, the Samsung Galaxy M series starts with a price tag of Rs 10,000/- for Galaxy M10 while a higher Rs 15,000/- price tag for Galaxy M20 and finally, the largest of all could fetch around Rs 20,000/- and will be sold exclusively on Amazon and Samsung.com. Soon after its Indian launch on January 28, it is speculated to appear in some countries in the European continent a while later.
