The Galaxy TabPro S was the first Galaxy device launched by Samsung having a non-android operating system. It was launched in January 2016 and it runs on windows 10. TabPro has got a successor now, for Samsung has launched a new version, which is covered in Gold colour and sports few upgraded specifications as well.
Now the device has been named as “Galaxy TabPro S Gold Edition” and it can be purchased at Samsung’s online stores. This edition has been priced at $999.99 and it boasts of doubled memory and storage capacity too. The predecessor had 4GB of Ram and storage of 128GB, so the new version has got 8GB of RAM and storage capacity as whopping as of 256GB.
The display and processor are similar to that of the previous model; 12-inch Super AMOLED display screen packed with Intel core M3 processor. This device sports a 5- mega pixels camera on the sides; front and rear. The battery capacity is of 5200mAh which will deliver around 10.5 hours of battery life whenever it gets charged.
It has got fast charging enabled in the system, so the device will get fully charged in 2.5 hours. In terms of connectivity, there is WI-FI, Bluetooth connection, a USB port for transferring data and much more. The measurement is around 290.3×198.8×6.35mm and the weight is about 694 grams, pretty much similar to the previous version.
The Gold edition is yet to hit the stores and to be available in countries apart from the US market. It was supposed to be launched in the international market in April, but got delayed for some marketing issues. Talking about Indian market, there is no news as to when gold edition will be launched in India and so Indian customers are not going to see it any time soon.
