Samsung failed to impress customers with Galaxy Note 7 and ended up folding up the production entirely, but the upcoming flagship is expected to be a grand hit. The long-rumoured Samsung Galaxy S8 is supposed to go live in February 2017 and already has taken the market by storm, in terms of its specs and features. While several unofficial leaks and teasers have kept on teasing the phone concerning its specification line-up, Samsung in an official statement has revealed some facts about the design of the phone.
We already have lots of news and gossips in the corner about the styling and look of the upcoming Galaxy S8, and to now a senior official of Samsung has confirmed the reports of Galaxy S8 to feature a slim design and superior camera. In a press meet, Samsung’s mobile-communications vice president, Lee Jae-Yong said, Samsung Galaxy S8 will arrive with a completely new look and outline. It will be packed with a more polished in terms of design while the optical part will have an improved snapper.
Mr. Lee while addressing to the Wall Street Journal (via The Verge) said, “Galaxy S8 will have a slick design and an improved camera.” Along with this confirmation, Lee also gave a key hint towards Galaxy S8 to house an improved artificial intelligence feature. But unfortunately, he didn’t reveal any details about AR feature.
Apart from these details, according to the leaks, Samsung S8 will feature a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED 4K, Samsung’s own Exynos 8895 SoC processor, 6GB of RAM, Bezel-less Screen, and optic fingerprint sensing display are expected to arrive with Galaxy S8. Alike the departed Note 7, Galaxy S8 will be seen with a dual-camera configuration in the rear portion.
