Samsung Galaxy S7 to get updated to Android Nougat 7 soon

Samsung S7 and Samsung S7 edge will soon be updated to Android Nougat 7, says the leaked reports.

Last month, when Samsung concluded its Android Nougat beta for model Galaxy S7 and S7 edge devices, the Korean company said that it will try its best to come up with the final update of Android Nougat 7, in January 2017.

Earlier this month, the biggest smartphone tech giant of the world, Samsung started seeding Android Nougat to a small batch of Galaxy S7 units. It was more like starting to steep test the update of the final version.

Hence for the all Samsung users, if you are waiting for the final roll out to begin soon, you will be happy to know that it will happen in less than a week from now. The reports were known from some leaked screenshots that were out recently. The roll-out process will finally start January 17, 2017onwards, says the reports.

Samsung Galaxy S7 was released last year in March. The phone has got a 5.1 inch HD display, with corning gorilla glass cover. The phone was initially powered by Android Marshmallow v.6.0.0. The phone gained a lot of popularity within few months of its launch. Talking about the internal features the phone runs on Snapdragon 820 and has got a 128GB expandable memory. It has 8 GB internal RAM, 12 MP primary cameras and 5 MP back camera. It has got 3000 mAh battery life for longer duration.

The leaked screenshots mentioned that the roll out will be out soon. But the bigger question is when the beta version was already in market and has been tested successfully, why it can’t be out at the same time. Of course, it is still a leak, but with beta program completed and soak test also done, it would be reasonable for the final roll out to begin sooner than later.
