Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016) spotted at Zauba listing, soon to be unveiled in India

As per the rumours are spreading, Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016) will be rolled out in India within the upcoming months. According to the sources, Samsung Galaxy A8 with its price has been listed on Indian import-export website Zauba.

The listing proves the fact that the Galaxy A8 (SM-A810F) is presently being exported from South Korea to New Delhi. But, the price on the website has seemed Rs. 13,635 instead of Rs. 39,000 that has been decided by the company while it launched in South Korea last month of this year. It also gets to know that the disclosed price on Zauba is only for customs purpose, not for official purpose.

As mentioned above, the Samsung Galaxy A8 was unveiled in South Korea in September 2016 with a pricing of KRW 649,000 which is almost equal to Rs. 39,000 according to the Indian currency. However, there is a huge variation in the price tag, the disclosure on Zauba should be held only with a pinch of salt.

As talking about the specifications, the Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016) which is the successor to Galaxy A8 (launched in 2015), comes with a 5.7–inch full-HD (1080×1920) AMOLED display. It is packed with the company’s own octa-core Exynos 7420, with four Cortex-A57 cores clocked at 2.1GHz and four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.5GHz and coupled with 3GB RAM. It supports Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out-of-the-box and the new Grace.

The Samsung Galaxy A8 features 32GB and 64GB internal storage support which can be expandable up to 256GB through microSD card. It sports 16MP primary camera and an 8MP front camera with flash module support. Other connectivity options include in the headset are Bluetooth v4.2, Wi-Fi (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac), WiFi Direct, Hotspot, NFC, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, FM radio and Micro-USB 2.0. It is backed by a 3,300mAh battery.

Other notable features integrated into these smartphones are an Always-On Display and a fingerprint sensor embedded in the home button which packs with Samsung Pay compatibility.
