At the Samsung Forum, 2015 in Bangkok, the South Korean smartphone giant announced four new smartphones for the Indian market this Monday. The list includes Galaxy Grand Prime 4G, Galaxy Core Prime 4G, the J1 4G and the new full metallic body, Galaxy A7.
The Samsung Galaxy A7 has already launched in the market with a price tag of Rs 30,499. Meanwhile, the other three of the devices are expected to launch in March 2015. The firm reported that the price and other details will be announced at the time of their launchings. However, the reports suggest that the J1 4G will cost Rs 9,990 in India and the other two devices will cost in between them.
The most expensive smartphone of Galaxy A series, Galaxy A7 runs on Android 4.4 KitKat supported by 2 GB of RAM coupled with a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor, which includes four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.5GHz and four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.0GHz.
The device is featured with a 5.5-inch Super-AMOLED display with a full-HD 1080×1920 pixels of resolution and a 13 megapixel of primary snapper with autofocus and LED flash paired with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.
Hyun Chil Hong, President and CEO of Samsung India Electronics said, “In 2015, we plan to introduce path-breaking technology across different categories of products, which will enhance consumer experience and strengthen our position in the market.”
At the time of launch of products at Samsung Forum 2015 in Bangkok, Asim Warsi, Samsung India VP (Marketing, Mobile and IT) said, “India is at the cusp of its digital revolution journey and we expect 4G technology to rise and push internet usage to an unprecedented level.” The South Korean giant’s 4G handset Galaxy J1 is featured with a 4.3 inch display and a 5 megapixel of rear camera and 2 megapixel of front-facing camera. As found in Galaxy A7, its camera also has innovative selfie features that offer various options and flexibility to shoot decent and quality pictures.

Meanwhile, the Core Prime and Galaxy Grand prime feature a 4.5-inch and a 5-inch display respectively. The devices boast a 5 megapixel of primary camera.
