Reliance Digital LYF F8 Goes On Sale in India: Price, Specifications and Features

Reliance Retail has added a new smartphone to its current LYF flagship in India. Named as “LYF F8”, the new handset with 4G VoLTE capability and Android Marshmallow OS went live in Indian for Rs. 4, 199 only. Exclusive to company’s retail outlets across the country, LYF F8 is available with two colour variants like black and blue and is tagged with Rs. 4, 199.

In terms of specifications, LYF F8 features a 4.5 inch FWVGA display. Enriched with “Swift Gesture Control” feature, LYF F8 provides users easy access to different apps like camera and music without going ahead of the lock screen. Powered by 1.3 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 210 chipset paired with Adreno 304 GPU, LYF F8 is packed with 1GB RAM and 8 GB internal storage, which is expandable up to 128 GB via micro SD card slot.

On the optical front, the LYF F8 has an 8-megapixel rear camera accompanied by LED Flash and Auto-focus alongside a 5-megapixel front snapper for selfies and video chat. The added features like Red Eye Reduction, HDR support in video mode, Smile and Gaze Detection, Blink Detection and Panorama are integrated with the camera to enhance picture quality. Running on Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 running out of the box, the phone supports dual-SIM connectivity together with the 4G VoLTE support.

Measuring 132.6×66.2×9.3mm and weighing 138 grams, LYF F8 also has a micro USB port to which will allow users to share files from a pen drive. Fuelled by a 2000 mAh Lithium-ion battery, LYF F8 is claimed to deliver up to160 hours standby time and 8 hours of talk time on 4G network. Other connectivity options of LYF F8 include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, Micro-USB 2.0, GPS, and 3.5mm audio jack.
