In the last couple of months, Jio has successfully created a solid customer base because of its quality of service and the affordable plans for data and calling. At the Reliance AGM last year, Mukesh Ambani, head Honcho of the Reliance group, announced that the calling and the roaming facility on the Jio network which used a VoLTE would remain free for all users, and the only thing they have to pay for is the data usage over the network. This approach has pretty much changed the entire face of Indian Telecom sector as it forced other players like RComm, Airtel, Vodafone, Idea to spruce up their game to stay in the competition.
