Ranbir Kapoor has been facing serious crisis in his life as his films this year hasn’t been able to attract the ‘Ranbir’ attention and led to empty theaters and criticism. With this going on, Ranbir said that he feels that he has no sense of the direction he is going on his career.
“There’s a sense of insecurity that’s starting to trend inside of me. I’m feeling a sense of friction where I really don’t know what’s happening with my career. I know what’s happening with my work but I don’t know what’s going to happen with my career.” Ranbir said in one of his interviews.
This year seems to be not so charming for Ranbir, as his films ‘Roy’ and ‘Bombay Velvet’ failed miserably being preceded by ‘Besharam’ last year. His three films in continuation has been a direct low of his career with really less business in the market.
In Roy he played a thief and the limelight was taken away by Jacqueline Fernandez and Arjun Rampal. In his second movie ‘Bombay Velvet’ he was playing the role of ‘Johnny’ a street fighter of 1990’s alongside Anushka Sharma.
Although the year hasn’t bestowed Ranbir his fair share of luck, but his upcoming films might prove to be a turn of events. In his upcoming film ‘Tamasha’, he will be seen alongside Deepika Padukone to create the ‘Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani’ atmosphere and is under the wizardly direction of the brilliant Imtiaz Ali, the ‘Jab We Met’ director. Another of his films ‘Jagga Jasoos’ will be a film with his rumored love of life Katrina Kaif.
Well, now all we can do is hope for the poor actor to climb out of his well of despair and frustration for we all know that the versatile Ranbir, the prodigy of Rishi Kapoor is set to rock the floor with his talent in the near future for sure. We at Tecake, wish you luck Ranbir.
