Priyanka Chopra: I am not superstar but achiever

Priyanka Chopra discourages the term ‘Superstar’

B town’s Piggy Chops aka Priyanka Chopra says there is no such thing as a superstar but achievers and as long as she feels she is achieving and moving forward in her 13 year acting career, she is fine and will go on but if she finds something unsatisfying, she is all the more ready to let it go.

“There is no sense of satisfaction and if that happens then I will quit. I don’t think I am satisfied, I feel there is so much more to do. I don’t set benchmark for myself. I don’t consider myself as a star or actor, I consider myself as an achiever, I want to achieve the best in whatever I do,” Piggy Chops said on being asked if she would quit if she didn’t feel satisfied being an actor.

According to our PC, the best achievements in her life were – being crowned Miss India, Miss World at the tender age of 17, her understanding that she can make acting a career and then choosing music to be a part of her life as it was her deceased father’s dream.

Currently she is super excited about her upcoming film “Dil Dhadakne Do” where she will be playing the role of Ayesha, sister to Ranveer. The film features an ensemble cast of Anil Kapoor, Shefali Shah, Priyanka Chopra, Ranveer Singh, Anushka Sharma and Farhan Akhtar and tells the story of a dysfunctional Punjabi family on a cruise trip.

Well Priyanka, if only more actors thought about it like you do, we would have seen less of throat slashing and self as well as other deprecating horrific acts by actors to put themselves on top. But then, what would have been in the news? So, for our sake, we wish the competitions go on.
