Though Xiaomi has scheduled an event to launch its Mi Note 2 smartphone in China but rumours and leaks didn’t come to rest. A new leak has started surfacing on the Internet, suggesting that the pricing and availability details of the smartphone.
According to the AndroidPure, the Mi Note 2 will be the most expensive Xiaomi smartphone ever. The website spotted a presentation slide of the launch event at Weibo which suggests that the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 will be priced at CNY 5,699 (around Rs. 57,000) and go on sale in China from November 1.
“The PPT slide lists 5699 Yuan (~Rs. 57,000 or $850) as the price of upcoming Xiaomi Note 2 which we assume is the Snapdragon 821 + 6GB + 128GB/256GB variant,” it noted.
It’s very long when rumours started surfacing the Internet suggested the specs and features of the phone. Now, Xiaomi will be putting rest on these rumours and speculations on October 25 by its launching. Besides the rumours, CEO Lei Jun himself reignited launch expectations by saying that the Mi Note 2 will “have a surprise” whenever it launches.
As per the reports and speculations observed, we can assume that the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 will be powered by a Snapdragon 821 SoC, and fueled by a 3600mAh battery. It might be launched in two variants – 6GB RAM with 64GB storage and 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, which is to be priced at CNY 2,499 (roughly Rs. 25,000) and CNY 2,799 (roughly Rs. 28,000) respectively.
