After introducing it at MWC 2017, Samsung today has begun taking pre-orders for its most-awaited tablet – Samsung Galaxy Tab S3. Touted as an ‘iPad Killer,’ the Galaxy Tab S3 is now open for advance booking and the users who are interested in buying this premium tablet of Samsung can book it now via Samsung’s Official website. In a recently held official event, the South Korean Giant unveiled all the details about Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 including its specs, features, price, and availability.
As announced by Samsung, the Galaxy Tab S3 is tagged with £599 price range which is translated as Rs 40,000 in Indian currency. The pre-bookings for the same have already been started from today, while the retailing of the device will be kicked off on 24th March. For best buy, buyers can go for the official website Samsung, as well as Amazon, and a few other e-com sites. Along with the Tablet, there is also a Pogo keyboard will also hit the retail outlets on the 24th March, and will cost $130 (Around Rs 8,500).
In terms of specifications and functionalities, the Galaxy Tab S3 from the South Koran Giant Samsung will arrive with two variants – one with the compatibility of LTE and the other with Wi-Fi only compatibility. On the front panel, both variants will flaunt a 9.7-inch Super AMOLED QXGA display which is mated with the display resolution of 2048×1536 pixels and a body ratio of 4:3. As far as the software of the Galaxy Tab S3 is concerned, the device runs Android 7.0 Nougat-based TouchWiz UX. Backed by a massive 6000mah battery; the premium tablet from Samsung is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 quad-core processor, under the hood.
On the storage department, the phone packs 4GB of RAM and 32GB of built-in storage which is further expandable up to 256GB via a micro-SD card slot. For photography, the users will get a 13-megapixel camera accompanied by auto-focus and f/1.9 aperture on the rear panel of the Galaxy Tab S3, while on the front, the tablet hosts a 5-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture and auto-focus. With 6,000mAh battery and a fast charging support, the tablet is claimed to last up to 12 hours on a single full charge.
The tablet also sports a front-mounted fingerprint scanner which is entrenched on the Home button. There are four speakers on the tablet which are intended for delivering premium sound quality.
