OnePlus, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer, has come a long way in the Indian market, and no doubt has become able to grab the attention of smartphone buyers with its powerful line-up of handsets and competitive price range. Though the first edition of OnePlus failed to attract the customers, the third edition of the OnePlus series – the OnePlus 3 was proved to be a game changer. Release in June this year, OnePlus 3 received heaps of extols for its remarkable features, powerful functionalities, and reasonable price range, and made the parental company strengthen its root in Indian market more. But the reason behind its good business is not the line-up of features or functionality; it is a particular type of technology built up in-house by OnePlus.
Except usual features like quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, 6GB of RAM and 64GB storage, 5.5-inch Optic AMOLED display, and 16-megapixel rear-facing camera with phase detection autofocus and OIS (optical image stabilization), there is another integrated technology that makes OnePlus 3 set apart from other smartphones and it is “Dash Charge Technology”.
Carl Pei, the CEO of OnePlus has confirmed that, the new technology “Dash Charge technology” is the actual reason behind OnePlus 3 overwhelming the Indian market with a high margin of sales. It is the technology that has kept on driving more and more consumers towards the retails for OnePlus 3.
As said by Carl Pei, OnePlus held an internal survey to find out the reason behind the growing popularity of OnePlus 3 and discovered it is neither the strong specification line-up nor the reasonable pricing, but it is the Dash Charge Technology which drives people towards this gadget.
What’s Dash Charge Technology???
Dash Charge technology is quite different from standard faster-charging technologies presented in the current market. Dash Charge functions differently in relation to other fast charging technologies, which sets it apart. Dash Charge Technology instead of boosting up the pressure, produces a larger amount of electric current which leads to steady and fast charging speed. While high-power actions like gaming hold back the charging technologies used in smartphones, Dash Charge Technology keeps on operating at full force and thus make OnePlus 3 more reliable than other existing smartphones.
As said by Carl Pei, Dash Charge is “the most pivotal component of OnePlus 3” followed by the “intense design, quality of the construct and high-definition camera.” And in coming days, the Chinese Giant is expected to add more exceptionality to this contour. However, if you are a real fan of OnePlus and eagerly waiting for the next flagship to arrive, then you don’t need to wait much, as OnePlus is supposed to release the upgraded variant of OnePlus 3, called OnePlus 3T. The expected features to arrive with OnePlus 3T are Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor, Android 7.0 Nougat OS, Sony IMX398 camera, 5.5-inch Full HD screen and a 3,300mAh battery empowered by superior Dash Charge technology.
