P.V.Sindhu enter into final at Macau Open Grand Prix Gold, defeated Busanan by 21-14,21-15.

World No. 11 P.V. Sindhu recorded an easy win in women’s singles to get into finals but male shuttler H.S. Prannoy suffered defeat in the men’s singles semis against Wing Ki Wong regardless of valorous fight in Macau Grand Prix Gold held at Macau on November 29, 2014.

Defending Champion Sindhu had record of 4-0 win against Thailand’s Busanan Ongbumrungpan before fighting in the game and she improved her record by winning fifth game in the encounter against her rival on Saturday. The second seed Indian dominated over eight seeded opponent Busanan by 21-14, 21-15, in a 42-minute match at the Tap Seac Multisport Pavilion. In an early minutes of game, Busanan took 5-2 lead but she could not maintain the pressure for long time on Sindhu and Indian changed the tables, taking 13-9 lead and did not gave any chance to Busanan to come back in the first game. In the second game, Sindhu continued her temperament and took 5-1 lead. Busanan tried to claw back and equalized the lead 12-12 taking by Sindhu. However, she was not able to show her consistency in the whole game and got defeated by Sindhu in 42 minute of the game by 21-14, 21-15. Sindhu again came near to Macau Grand Prix Gold as she qualified for final after winning in semi-finals.

On the other hand, young shuttler Prannoy tried to win the semi-final and fought hard in the game but was not able to break the defence of Wong in the semis. Wong went into the final by winning 21-16, 16-21, and 21-12 in an hour. Prannoy smashed too many times in his game, but Wong defend it very well. Prannoy, after losing his first game by 21-16, came back very nicely, and he won his second game with his good shots. However, Wong soon came back and depended upon a strong defense; he succeeded to win his third game against a strong competitor. Wong took 2-1 lead in the whole match by winning first and third game and got into final of the tournament.
