As officially announced by OnePlus on its blog, the upgrade of OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T from Oxygen OS to Nougat 7.1.1 is something far more than just an Android update. There are a number of additions and features that the users can enjoy with the new Nougat update.

Back on December 31st, 2016, OnePlus rolled out the Android 7.0 Nougat based Oxygen OS 4.0 update to both OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T devices. And today, the company has announced a new Oxygen OS 4.1.0 update based on the most recent Android 7.1.1 for both the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T. As believed, OnePlus, with the new update, will be bringing several new bug fixings and features, especially to the camera and connectivity department of both OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T. The update meditates on 353MB and is rolling out in phased approach.

The features of the new Nougat 7.1.1 include Google security patch for March 2017, enhanced screenshots ability, superior blur diminution when photographing the moving objects, enhanced video recording stability, better WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, and the usual bug fixes. The update for Nougat will be delivered to the users over-the-air (OTA) in a phased manner, beginning today itself. Those who own a OnePlus 3 or 3T should check the notification box for becoming aware of OS availability on their device. However, as stated by OnePlus, the rollout of the update has already been started, and within next few days, it will hit all the devices.
