Nokia has decided to run its phones powered by Android Nougat and that too, out of the box. Read the specifications here to know more.
The company HMD Global presently hold the rights to develop Smartphone devices under the brand of Nokia. Recently it surprised the entire mobile manufacturing industry on Sunday. The company is about to launch its first Nokia-branded Android smartphone named as Nokia 6 very soon. Previous the brand Nokia only launched windows operating phones which didn’t go any good to the company with the popularity of Android and iOS in the market.
The Nokia E1 smartphone was first exclusively launched for China. It has a 5.5-inch power packed full-HD display enveloped in 2.5D Gorilla Glass. The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC. It has a 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The smartphone is even dual SIM enabled and houses a 3000mAh non-removable battery. The Nokia 6 is priced at 1,699 CNY which is approximately Rs. 16,750 in India. It is expected to be made available from early months of 2017.
An entry level Smartphone by the company, which was earlier leaked through live images and sketches, has now a brand new leak. The phone is soon to get launched in Indian market.
The specifications that were leaked about the suspected E1 budget smartphone have suggested that it will sport either a 5.2-inch or 5.3-inch HD display with a clear screen resolution of 720×1280 pixels. The news was confirmed was Nokia power-house users.
The Nokia E1 is expected to run on Android Nougat out of the box platform. The phone is expected to be powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon 425 processor which is coupled with 2GB of RAM and Adreno 308 GPU.
In terms of Indian market, the android powered Smartphone is expected to pack a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front shooter. Even though the pricing of the phone is not known yet as of now, it is expected to be announced by HMD Global at MWC 2017 later next month. The phone is expected to be priced above 16k for the market.
