Nokia 6 Unofficially Hits Availability in India via a Third-Party Online Retailer

Up to now, Nokia’s latest Android-based smartphone “Nokia 6” was exclusive to China. But surprisingly, a third-party online retailer has launched the phone for the Indian market. HMD Global, which owns the copyright to sell Nokia’s all upcoming smartphones, is yet to confirm the availability of Nokia’s comeback model in India. But unofficially, the phone has made its way to Indian market through a third-party online retailer – eBay India.

Buyers, who are looking forward to grabbing a Nokia 6, far before its official release in India, can go for eBay India website. eBay India has listed Nokia 6 on its official website at a premium price tag of Rs. 32,440, which is almost twofold of its price in Chinese market – Rs. 17, 00. With the highlighted mark of limited stock, eBay has listed smartphone2017 as the seller of Nokia 6.    However, the unofficial online listing of Nokia 6 on eBay has clearly mentioned that the delivery of the handset will commence after 25 days.

Nokia 6 is the comeback model of Nokia. It is the first Android-based smartphone from Nokia. Designed by HMD Global and manufactured by Foxconn Technology, Nokia 6 is the true epitomize of Nokia’s lost legacy. As far as specifications and features of the phone are concerned, the Nokia 6 flaunts a 5.5-inch full-HD 2.5D curved display, mated on 1080×1920 pixels display resolutions. Moreover, it also has a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for better protection of screen. Measuring 54.00 x 75.80 x 7.85 (height x width x thickness) and weighing 167.00 grams, the device hosts a sophisticated fingerprint scanner at the front panel, underneath the display together with two capacitive physical navigational knobs.

Under the hood, the Nokia 6 is powered by 1.1GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor, accompanying 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which is further expandable up to128GB via micro-SD card slot. In the optical department, users will get a 16-megapixel primary camera on the rear panel of the Nokia 6, while the front part hosts an 8-megapixel selfie shooter.

As far as the software of the phone is concerned, Nokia 6 runs on Google’s latest Operating System Android 7.0 Nougat and supports dual-SIM feature (GSM + CDMA and GSM + CDMA). With additional connectivity features like Dolby Atmos sound technology, 3G and 4G connectivity, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, USB OTG, FM, Nokia 6 also packs sensor specifications like a fingerprint scanner, Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope.
