We have seen several reports, rumours and speculations suggesting design and features of the next iPhone 8. Adding to the queue, sources suggested that the iPhone 8 will be offered in a red colour variant.

A reliable Japanese Publication Macotakara, which claims to boast connections in the Asia supply chain, said that there is a high probability of getting an iPhone in red colour. However, the publications’ supply source calls the new iPhones as ‘iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus’, not the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus, which is earlier confirmed that the next iPhones will be iPhone 8 models, not iPhone 7s.

Nothing is official yet, hence, the Cupertino giant might disapprove all the rumours and stick to the convention naming of its iPhones by launching iPhone 7s models on its tenth anniversary. Or, it might shock the world by launching an unmatchable iPhone 8, with the rumoured specs and features like curved glass display, bezel-less design, wireless charging etc.

Apple has recently added a new colour option to its lineup as it has launched the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus in a new jet black colour which is highly liked by people. Apart from jet black the iPhones comes in black, silver, gold and rose gold, with space grey newly retired. If the company adds red to the next iPhone’s colour options it would certainly spice up the release. Probably putting the variant in high demand.

In addition, the Taiwanese supplier Macotakara also stated that the iPhone 7s models will primarily focus on internal upgrades and skip upgrades like wireless charging and an all-glass body, others point to the new iPhone featuring a curved glass front and back along with wire-free charging and no home button.

The report also suggested that the next iPhones will be available in two display size options, which was introduced with the launch of iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus i.e 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch respectively.

Besides, Citing a post published on The Sun, the Cupertino giant is importing stockpiling components to manufacture high-quality display. And this makes us believe that the Apple iPhone 8 will be featured with an OLED curved display. OLED pixels are self-illuminating. The report also touted that the iPhone 8 will also support wireless charging, and its camera will be capable of snapping ultra-HD photos.
