Opera VPN iOS

Joining loads of more VPN service providers, Opera has rolled out its VPN app on iOS for free. With the new Opera VPN app, users will be able to access blocked websites by their WiFi firewall or the region. The app is available for free to download from App Store.

The Opera VPN allows the user to connect with five different locations Canada, Germany, The Netherlands, Singapore, and USA. This means that when a user accesses a website, via VPN, anonymously by showing a different base country and IP address.

In other words, the app allows its users to visit a website from above-mentioned five locations, which will enable to access region-restricted content. The app supports English, Arabic, French, German, Indonesian, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish languages.

Moreover, talking about the features of the app, it comes with built-in ad blocker. The company claims that when users activate the VPN on their Apple device, it will remove ads from the apps and browsers, which also helps in saving mobile data. Also, it will challenge trackers to from storing users’ information.

Earlier this year, Opera has integrated the VPN service to its Windows and Mac browser, however, it is the first VPN app from the company. The app comes from the Surfeasy division of the company which was acquired for VPN services in browsers.

“Every day, millions of people, from students to working people, find that social-media sites like Snapchat, Instagram, and Facebook are blocked when they surf on their campus or workplace Wi-Fi. The same goes for video-streaming sites,” Chris Houston, President of Surfeasy, said. “With the new Opera VPN app, we let people bust through firewalls, break down the barriers of the web and enjoy the Internet with freedom.”

The app is only available for iOS users, and might be soon unveiled at Play Store for Android users, however, company didn’t utter a word regarding the same.

    Opera has a free version and it is clearly written in its policies about keeping logs but if you see the other VPN providers like IvacyVPN, PIA & Express VPN they have zero log policy.
