Google is rolling out its latest digital assistant, “the Google Assistant” for Marshmallow and Nougat devices. Exclusive to Google Pixel devices, the Google Assistant is estimated to be more interactive than the Google Now launcher’s digital assistant. Google also included this feature in its Allo messenger app.
If you want to get Google Assistant on hand, far before its official launch, then here’re the steps to do it:
Google Assistant, which earlier was exclusive to Google Pixel and Pixel Plus will soon be rolled out to all smartphones, powered by Android 6.0 and higher operating system versions. Alongside Android 6.0v and higher, Google also has prescribed some other criteria to get Google Assistant on hand. The phones, apart from running on Android 6.0v, required to have a minimum screen resolution of 720 x 1280 or higher and 1.5GB RAM. However, phones, running on Android Marshmallow OS will be easily entailed for new Google Assistant.
In contrast to the current version, the new console of Google Assistant is much more unceremonious, easy-to-use and easy-to-understand. In addition to its roll out to Android-powered handsets, Google also has added the feature to its popular messaging app “Allo”.
How to Activate Google Assistant on Phone
If your device has all such features and meets all the basic criteria, prescribed by Google, then getting the Google Assistant won’t be much harder. All you need to do is to update the Google Play Services of your phone. However, as Google is rolling out its updated Assistant slowly and thus far, not everyone with a companionable handset has access to install it right away, you may not be successful in doing so. If you already have upgraded your device’s Google Play Service and yet, Google Assistant is still not available on your phone, then it means, the roll-out is yet to start in your area yet. So you have to hang around for some more time to get this. Have some more patience!!!
