In the Sunanda Pushkar’s case investigation, her gadgets are being probed to look for any attempt to delete the evidence. Delhi Police has received the reports for the same from Directorate of Forensic Science (DFS) based in Gandhinagar
With the filing of the DFS report, Delhi Police’s SIT — it is probing the mysterious death of Sunanda Pushkar, wife of senior Congress leader Shashi Tharoor — will again press Twitter, Facebook and Blackberry to share data related to her social media accounts and the people with whom she was in contact over them.
The gadgets which are being checked include two laptops and four mobile phones.
“We had sent certain equipments for retrieval of data from the forensic science lab; they have retrieved the data and sent the equipment and a detailed report back to us. It is being examined. After its examination, if something of interest comes up, if we need to clarify it from any person that obviously will be done. If it doesn’t, then of course that may not be done,” said Delhi Police Commissioner B.S. Bassi
However, given the humungous volume of data, it will surely take time to analyze it.
Moreover, some important information is still awaited from Twitter, Facebook and other social media giants.
Twitter, Blackberry, and Facebook has been sought for information, and the deleted data will be analyzed to check if it was done on regular basis or does it involve some sort of suspicious step. In addition to this The Delhi Police is also waiting for US’ Fbi report on the poison which caused Sunanda Pushkar’s death.
The poison regarding which Indian medical team had expressed the inability to identify is a big bolster in the case as the way it reached Pushkar’s body hasn’t been specified yet.
A day before Pushkar was found dead, she had an altercation with Ms. Tarar over her alleged affair with Mr. Tharoor, who has been interrogated thrice in the last month.
