Jayant Sinha, after schooling started his journey from reputed IIT Delhi then he went to Harvard Business School to enter into a fast growing corporate world. Today Jayant, son of BJP veteran and former finance minister, Yashwant Singh, finally reached his destination and became the PM Narendra Modi’s council of ministers.
Jayant, 51-year old, management consultant and investment fund manager so far was elected to Lok Sabha in may this year from Hazaribagh in Jharkhand. He has overtaken the seat once represented by Sinha senior.
Before he entered parliament as a first-time MP, he has been in the corporate world for nearly 25 years. Since becoming an MP, Jayant has also been a member of three different parliamentary committees – Public Accounts Committee, standing committee on finance and committee on subordinate legislation.
After marking the step to lure the voters, Jharkhand Congress has moved to Election Commission of India to sought out the intervention into the Hazaribagh MP Jayant Sinha in Narendra Modi council of minster’s induction.
“Narendra Modi has done it to please voters in Jharkhand. It amounts to the violation of the model code of conduct,” said Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee, general secretary, Anadi Brahma.
“Narendra Modi has knowingly inducted Jayant Sinha into his council of ministers along with several MPs from Bihar. It has been done under a design to please certain sections of voters in North Chhotanagpur division (of Jharkhand). The election commission should intervene into this matter,” said local Congress spokesperson Rajesh Thakur.
