One of the most popular smartphone seller in Indian smartphone market, Micromax, has unveiled its latest Micromax Canvas Juice 2 Android phone for a price of Rs. 8,999 in silver variant, on Thursday.

The Juice 2 runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop supported by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor that is coupled with a 2 GB of RAM. The manufacturer has provided an 8 GB of internal storage, which can be expandable up to 32 GB via a microSD card.

The device is fronted with a 5-inch HD IPS display with 720×1280 pixels of resolution and a 2 megapixel of a front facing camera. Meanwhile, on the back side the device boasts an 8 megapixel of primary image snapper that is featured with a LED flash.

Moreover, the smartphone comes with a 3000 mAh of battery and company claims that it can juice up the device for up to 9 hours of talk time and up to 435 hours or 18 days of standby time.

As far connectivity is concerned, the device sports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS, GPRS/EDGE, 3G, and Micro-USB port.

Last year, the Canvas Juice was launched with 5-inch display, running on 4.2 Jellybean supported by a 1.3 GHz dual-core processor which was coupled with a 1 GB of RAM. The device with 5 megapixel camera was priced at Rs. 5481.
