Snapdeal Welcome 2016 Sale

There is another reason to cherish for shopping savvies as Indian e-commerce giant Snapdeal has announced on Saturday to provide up to 70% discount on clothing, mobile phones, home appliances and other products in a two-day “Welcome 2017” sale on January 8 and 9.

SBI card holders even have one more reason to smile as this online retailer has decided to provide 15% additional discount on using SBI credit cards. “No Cost EMI” is also available on almost all credit cards with some terms and condition which indicates company’s effort to hit big in these two days.

The company has already started showcasing the discounted price on various electronics and gadgets. For instance, a user can get Oppo Neo7 (16GB) in just Rs 7,999 which is lower to other e-retailers that are selling at Rs 9000. For iPhone lovers, company has announced to sell 5s(16GB), 7(32GB), and 6s(32GB) model at Indian price 17,499, 52,999 and 43,999 respectively.

In a press statement, Snapdeal also added that if the buyer will go with a prepaid option, then service will be automatically upgraded to Premier Snapdeal Gold service. As a result, the buyer can enjoy the benefit of free express delivery along with no charges on shipping with an extended 14 days return policy at zero charges.

With a caption “Unbox end of season sale” this e-commerce giant is pulling up socks to give a big competition to its rivalry Amazon, Flipkart, Jabong and other e-commerce websites in terms of providing big season end sales. It is worth noting that from 2013-14 survey, it was found that loss-profit ratio of Snapdeal was much lower than Amazon and Flipkart which indicated Snapdeal is well-positioned to turn profitable in next 2-3 years.

Snapdeal was co-founded by Kunal Bahl along with Rohit Bansal with its headquarters at Okhla in 2010. Jasper Infotech is its parent organisation and Snapdeal is popular among e-shoppers for providing an attractive discount on wide range of products.
