NASA shoots first ever 4K UHD video from space, Watch here!

After releasing stunning pictures of India-Pakistan border, NASA has again amazed the people with the release of mesmerising 4K ultra high definition  (UHD) video captured in space. It is the first time that any astronaut has captured a 4K video while being in space. The breathtaking video which features astronaut Scot Kelly was shot from ISS (International Space Station) directly and was released online using ISS’s own satellite.

“The higher resolution images and higher frame rate videos can reveal more information when used on science investigations, giving researchers a valuable new tool aboard the space station,” NASA explained.

NASA has recently emphasized the advance use of camera in space to capture the stunning movement with higher detailing which will help scientists on the earth to better understand what exactly is going on and how particles react.

In the video, we can see a water ball and astronaut Kelly playing with it which shows capabilities of what 4kUHD camera can do. Each and every detailing, the colors, the textures, etc are visible with our eyes. Some water droplets were also seen running away from the bubble that’s because of carbon dioxide present in the bubble which tends to rise towards the outer surface. Ball changes color many times in the video which is mesmerizing to watch.

While talking of Kelly, he is a NASA astronaut, but before that he was US Navy Fighter Pilot, He started his career in 1994 when he joined US Navy and till date he has gathered flying experience of more than 8000 hours in more than 40 aircrafts.

Kelly is one of the six members who currently are in space and has spent 195 days in ISS
