Moto Z-Droid & Z-Force Droid – the last month released Smartphones, powered by Motorola are reported to get their first update. From today, these two models with new updates will be rolling out in the market, and users can upgrade their devices by finding the software update options. The Verizon-exclusive Smartphones – Moto Z-Droid and Moto Z Force Droid went on sale last month, and this is their very first update pushed by Motorola.
According to Motorola, this new update is modeled with the number MCL24.246-36 and of 436MB weight, and it is reported to take about 20 minutes for installation. The parental company also added that this upgrade version is embodied with a number of enhancements, improvements, and the latest Android security updates.
According to an additional source, the most recent update from Motorola is still Android 6.0.1 and accompanied by the July security patch. It means Motorola with this new update has flatly said ‘NO’ to monthly updates, that most Smartphones are getting these days.
Moreover, Motorola also added that Moto Z-Droid & Z-Force Droid are going to be more powerful and most efficient with this new updates as this upgrade version features “bundle security updates in a scheduled Maintenance Release (MR) or OS update.” While Verizon Wireless has yet to share a changelog of the upgrade, it fundamentally conveys the security patch to Google’s July fix level.
