The much awaited smartphone Moto M is all set to launch on Tuesday in the Indian smartphone market. Motorola India has started sending media invites for the same. Motorola Moto M is priced at CNY 1,999 (roughly Rs. 19,700) for the Chinese market and it is expected that it will be priced in India at around Rs. 20,000.
Alongside a fingerprint scanner at back and waterproof metallic body design, the mid-range smartphone Moto M sports a 5.5-inch full-HD screen mated on 1080×1920 pixels display resolution. It is powered by a 2.2GHz MediaTek Helio P15 octa-core processor coupled with 4GB of RAM alongside a massive 32GB of native storage that could be expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card. The dual-SIM smartphone features hybrid SIM slot which means it supports a Micro-SIM or microSD card in the second SIM slot.
On the software front, the phone Moto M is listed to run on Android v6.0.1 Marshmallow OS and is said to be backed by a non-removable 3050mAh battery. In the optical part, the phone is packed with a 16-megapixel rear camera accompanying dual-LED flash, an f/2.0 aperture and PDAF together with an 8-megapixel front snapper for selfie and video chat. In the commercial listing, Motorola reveals the Moto M is enriched with a twofold layer of nano-coating which will shield it from the split, dribble and splashes.
The smartphone also comes featured with 4G with VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C (USB 3.1), NFC, and 3.5mm connectivity options.
Besides, Motorola has recently announced that it has no plans to launch its new Moto 360 smartwatch soon. The company released a statement on Monday which reveals that indicates we have at least a several months’ long wait before the next Moto 360 arrives.
Whereas, the Lenovo-owned brand, Motorola has launched two new Moto Mods for its Z series smartphones. It has unveiled a 3000mAh Mophie Battery Pack and an Incipio Car Dock that allows charging and comes with a 3.5mm audio output.
