Mirzapur produced by Excel Entertainment is an action crime thriller web television series. It’s on Amazon Prime Video. The series is mainly shot in Mirzapur. Also in Jaunpur, Azamgarh, Ghazipur, Lucknow, Gorakhpur and Varanasi. These cities, towns are mainly in Uttarpradesh, India.

This series spins around drugs, guns, goons and lawlessness. It tells the rule of goons and mafia people who do a lot of crimes without being getting caught by the police and some are done with the help of them. The story of the movie is related to the Purvanchal region of Uttar Pradesh, where these incidents took place. The first season of Mirzapur consists of 9 episodes in total. Country of origin is India and Original language is Hindi.
