Man-made activities to blame for unprecedented climate changes and global warming

Humanity and man-made activities are the sole reasons to blame for unprecedented climate changes and weather patterns. It has also resulted in global warming where the global average temperature is rising with every passing day. Now, a report by United Nation’s World Meteorological Organization (WMO), 2015 was the hottest year since 2000 and the researchers are blaming the greenhouse gases as well the man-made activities for the stoking heat waves and downpours.UN

Last year, the temperatures were 0.76 degrees Celsius above the 1961-1990 average that serves as an internationally agreed base period for evaluating the long-term changes in the climate. The global temperature through the baseline period was 14 degrees Celsius. The observed runs of record temperatures are extremely questionable to be followed in the absence of human-caused global warming.

About fifteen of the 16 hottest years on record were all this century, the exceptionally strong El Nino and the greenhouse gases must have worked together for the effect on the climate system in 2015. The influence of El Nino will fade in the upcoming time, but the effect of human-induced climate change will be there with the people for several decades. The change in the climate will increase the risk of the disasters that are related to weather serving as a barrier in achieving sustainable development.

The researchers are trying to account for the factors, including the heat from one warm year into another, the temperatures are some identical in many years, turning it hard to rank their heat with confidence. The change in the climate will progressively have damaging impacts for at least upcoming five decades that is emphasizing the need to invest in adaptation alongside with mitigation.

The U.N.’s WMO report has confirmed the data collected by U.S. and British that also has the statement showing that 2015 was by far the hottest year on record. Last month the nations gathered in Paris in order to plan the measures in order to protect the Earth in the upcoming time.

Around the World

  1. And just wait for another 30 years for man to continue with his activities. Then the World might end. Rich people, don’t buy small cars even if you are single person in your car. This will greatly help ending humanity on the Earth sooner.
