TUV 300, one of the best-selling cars of today from the house of Mahindra, gets a top of the line variant, namely T-10. Launched in September 2015, TUV 300 is currently available in the market in seven variants, all of them falling in the bracket of Rs.7.65 lakhs – Rs.10 lakhs.
Now, after more than 2 years, Mahindra launches a top of the line variant of TUV 300 with, intelligent appealing changes and additional features. It is predicted, that this move is Mahindra’s strategy to combat against the upcoming Tata Nexon and the Ford Ecosport facelift.
The T-10 variant is likely to be priced around 30,000-40,000 more than the corresponding T8 trim. The T-10 comes with new 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with GPS, USB Video and Image Playback, Bluetooth Music and Audio calling, Mahindra BlueSense, Driver Information System, Steering Mounted Audio Controls, 4 Speakers, and 2 Tweeters.
However, speaking about the engine, no changes will be seen on the T-10. Powered by a 1.5-liter mHawk 100 producing 100 PS and 240 Nm, mated to a 5-speed manual or 5-speed AMT.
The T-10 is obtainable in a choice of 6 single-tone colour selections – Dynamite Red, Glacier White, Bold Black, Majestic Silver, Verve Blue & Molten Orange. The SUV is also available in two dual-tone colour alternatives – Red, Black & Silver & Black.
The T-10 hosts a whole lot of fascinating changes on the exterior part, such as – fog lamp housing, smoky headlamps, grey coloured finish spare wheel cover and roof rails, and a rear spoiler(optional accessory before).
Speaking of the interior section, the add-on of a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system steals all the limelight.
The upcoming T-10 can be seen, as a move to survive through the odds of Tata Nexon and the facelifted Ecosport. With Vitara Brezza playing the king, in the already suffocated “compact SUV” segment, the competition is going to be a sure-shot harsh one.
Prices for the TUV 300 T-10 has not been announced. Bookings have open.
