By scoring a hat-trick against Apoel Nicosia, mesmerizing Lionel Messi became the all-time top scorer in the Champions League. This was his 28th hat-trick while playing for Barcelona and 5th in the Champions League. Argentina’s striker Messi now has kicked-off 74 goals in 91 appearances in the Champions League. He passed off Real Madrid forward Raul, who hit 71 goals in 142 games.

He brings us a lot more than goals.” Barcelona had already proved their capability for the knockout stages. Enrique’s team are at second position in their group with one game left.
