The Chinese smartphone maker, LeEco has announced on Friday that its recently launched Le 2 and Le Max 2 smartphones will be available for sale from June 28 in India. The company said that it will conduct the first flash sale of the smartphones on the day via Flipkart.
Registrations for the sale will begin on June 20, which would be open till 11 a.m for Le 2, while, for Le Max 2, the registrations would be open till 1:00 pm on June 28 at 12:00 pm while for Le Max 2, it will begin at 2:00 pm.
COO Smart Electronics Business, LeEco India, Atul Jain said in a statement, “We are confident that our second-generation smartphones on Flipkart will be top sellers, given their best-in-class specifications and design. The breakthrough CDLA technology which is a global first along with the attractive Content Membership program bundling are unique propositions that are unmatched.”
With each purchase on the first flash sale, the company will offer free CDLA earphones worth Rs 1,990, 10 per cent cashback on SBI credit cards, and LeEco membership worth Rs 4900.
The successor of the Le 1s, Le 2 smartphone also comes in Rose Gold color. It flaunts a 5.5-inch Full HD in-cell display, a 1.8GHz deca-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor in conjunction with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of eMMC 5.1 storage.
On photography front, the smartphone features a 16-megapixel of primary image snapping tool with PDAF. While, it sports an 8-megapixel of user-facing secondary image shooter. Other features include a 3000mAh battery and 4G LTE support.
On the other hand, the flagship handset, Le Max 2 comes in two variants as above mentioned. It features a 5.7-inch QHD bezel-less display, a 2.15Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 64-bit quad-core processor with an Adreno 530 GPU. The manufacturer provides 64GB of built-in storage to the device, a 21MP of rear camera and an 8MP of front-facing camera.
The LeEco Le Max 2 is fueled with a 3100mAh battery and support for 4G LTE connectivity.
Both of the smartphones boast fingerprint scanner and run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based Emotion UI 5.8 skin on prime. They also show similarity in several hardware features as well, such as fingerprint scanner at the back and a USB Type-C port at the bottom.
In addition, the smartphones didn’t pack with a 3.5 mm audio jack, and for the audio connectivity, the manufacturer has provided earphones with USB Type-C along with the smartphones.
