The Taiwanese smartphone maker Asus that is trying to strengthen its foothold in the ever growing Indian smartphone market is expected to launch some new devices in the upcoming CES 2017. As per the reports, the company is planning to unveil Zenfone 4, Zenfone 3 Zoom and an upgraded version of Zenfone 3 Max in the upcoming days.

Meanwhile, a new smartphone with model number X00GD has been spotted on TENAA which suggests that Asus can launch the device in CES 2017. As per the leaks, the device will come with Android Nougat out of the box. The device is fronted with 5.2 inch display with 2.5 D glass while it will have a screen resolution of 720p. The smartphone will be powered by a 1.5GHz octa-core processor and it will come in multiple variants — 2GB + 16GB, 3GB + 32GB, or 4GB + 64GB.

In the camera section, the unnamed smartphone will carry a 13-megapixel rear shooter with dual LED flash and an 8-megapixel front camera. However, the main focus of the device is battery as it comes with a large 4,850mAh battery.

Asus Zenfone 3 Zoom

As per the listing, the Asus Zenfone 3 Zoom will be the first smartphone with dual camera setup by the company. It is said that the smartphone will sport a 16-megapixel of dual-rear cameras which is will be its USP, and features a 13-megapixel of secondary camera at the front, with a 5.5-inch FHD display protected with a 2.5D glass on top.

With the Android Marshmallow layered with ZenUI on top (expected to be upgraded to Nougat), the handset is touted to be powered by a 2.0 GHz Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 625 processor, while, it is still unspecified that whether the smartphone will come in a single option with 2, 3, or 4GB of RAM, or in RAM-storage variant with the specified options in RAM and 16, 32 or 64GB options in storage.

Beisides, the smartphone will be launched in Black, Silver, and Gold colour variants. The Asus Zenfone 3 Zoom will be fueled with a gigantic 4,850 mAh of battery, placed in its. 7.99 mm thick body.

It just might happen that the device will be officially announced at CES next month in Las Vegas. Asus has already scheduled its Zenovation Event for January 4, 2017.

Asus is aggressively launching devices in every segment in order reach more Indian consumers and recently it unveiled Zenfone Go 4.5 LTE in India which comes with a price tag of Rs 6,999.
