Online leaks have become a common incident. Previously several smartphones and gadgets have become subjective to online leaks, and Oppo R9s is the latest one to spot on the benchmarking site, ahead of its official launch.
Chinese microblogging site Sina Weibo has always been a reliable source of online leaks and OPPO R9s is the newest addition to the leaked device directory of this site. The yet-to-be-announced OPPO R9s recently spotted on a sheet of AnTuTu Benchmark site, giving the smartphone market some major goals about the mid-range chops of this gadget.
As per the executive source, Oppo is going to launch two of its cutting-edge smartphones like Oppo R9s and Oppo R9s Plus today in an official event and ahead of two days of official introduction, this leak has generated a high stream in the market of the smartphone in China.
Following this leak, Oppo started sending media invitations for the launch of R9s and like icing on the cake; the leak gave the stream of rumours more high waves. As expected, Oppo R9s is spotted to run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, while Oppo has enriched the smartphone with a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor. In memory segment, the phone is listed to have with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of inbuilt memory.
Along with these major highlights, Oppo R9s is reported to empower by two 16-megapixel cameras in the optics part which ensures high picture quality on both front and back part. In display segment, the phone features a large 5.5-inch screen which is mated on a screen resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. The integrated VR technology is reported to enhance the screen and make it more feasible and superior viewing experience. The line-up of features on AnTuTu Benchmark site closed up here and no information are found about the battery and external memory slot.
As far as the release and availability concerns, Oppo R9s is expected to go live on from today alongside another upgraded model – Oppo R9s Plus. However, no official views have yet been given on this surprising online leak.
