Leak: OnePlus 3T might be announced on November 14

OnePlus 3T will launch on Nov 3

The China-based handset maker, OnePlus is geared up to launch its much rumoured OnePlus 3T smartphone in Black colour option on November 14. The smartphone seems to be the upgraded variant of ealier launched OnePlus 3 smartphone.

Previously, reports suggested that the OnePlus 3T smartphone will be launched in December, however, the new speculations suggested that the handset will unveil on November 14. A post on the Chinese micro-blogging site, Weibo has revealed that on the specified day the OnePlus 3T will be launched in London.

Talking to the specs, the OnePlus 3T is expected to be featured with a similar  5.5-inch FHD display which was found on OnePlus 3. Moreover, the handset might be powered by a Snapdragon 821 processor coupled with 6GB of RAM, and will be available in two storage variants – 128GB and 64GB. This time the handset will be fueled with an improved 3300mAh version, larger than the 3000 mAh which comes packed with OnePlus 3.

Another change that is noted on the new version of OnePlus 3 is its Operating System. The parental company has ditched the Android OS, v6.0.1 (Marshmallow) OS and instead, it has upgraded the phone with the recently launched Android 7.0 Nougat-based OxygenOS out-of-the-box. However, the metal unibody design remains unchanged for both gadgets.

In terms of price range, OnePlus 3T is tipped to be an expensive model of the Chinese Maker. According to online tipster Evan Blass who is also called @evleaks, the OnePlus 3T will be more expensive than the current OnePlus 3. It tipped the phone to cost $479 (roughly Rs. 32,100) which is $80 (around Rs. 5,400) more than the current flagship of OnePlus. However, despite the little bump in price, OnePlus 3T will be quite reasonable in comparison to smartphones from other brands.

Among other essential features, OnePlus 3T is whispered to contain fingerprint sensor and USB Type-C as OnePlus 2 and OnePlus 3 have. However, official announcements are still awaited.
