The much-awaited iPhone’s anniversary model iPhone X has been revealed now among its fans. Adjoining the lineup, the Cupertino giant has also revealed new iPhone 8 and 8 Plus models, besides, Apple Watch Series 3 and Apple 4K TV.
Apple Inc. has announced its iPhones on Tuesday at Steve Jobs Theaters. The current CEO Tim Cook has debuted the anniversary edition. Some of the Apple fans found that the iPhone X with edge-to-edge infinity display is a revolution in the current smartphone era. Where manufacturers are trying to offer a bezel-less device, however, they failed to offer the same like the iPhone X.
When compared to the latest Samsung Galaxy S8, S8+ and Note 8, we can see that we have bezel at minimum one side, but with Apple iPhone X we get a complete bezel-less design.
On the other hand, some of the fans got disappointed with the announcement as they are claiming that what new Apple has stuffed in the new iPhone for which they were waiting for a long, except its display. When, few of the iPhone X fans are telling them that the new phone has face unlock, in reply. Countering them, the face ID unlock demo on stage got failed.
Before, starting the debate and my opinion over its let’s find out quick details of new iPhone X.
Things you need to know about Apple iPhone X:
Apple is willing to recreate the magic with the launch of 10th-anniversary iPhone edition. Similar to which Steve Jobs created ten years ago with the launch of the first iPhone in 2007. Hence, can sustain in the term of market share. Apple’s event is being viewed as the opportunity for the Apple fans and investors because the company has made the innovative smartphone launch. It was much needed in the highly innovative smartphone market, where technology is getting keep advanced.
Here are the few points which describe iPhone X in detail:
There is no ‘Home Button’ in iPhone X as the company has replaced the fingerprint sensor with the entirely new method of security which is FaceID enabled by the TrueDepth camera. This function uses the front camera, infrared camera and dot projector which maps your face using 30,000 dots which will help with Face ID. Also, it is irrespective of the changes which are superficial like wearing glasses, cutting short your hair, growing beard and so on.
The iPhone X supports edge-to-edge 5.8-inch (14.7-centimeter) “super retina” OLED display which has the resolution of 2436 x 1125 pixels, also supports features like TrueTone colours. The display also supports 3D Touch and has a finger-resistant oleophobic coating.
Apple has developed the A11 Bionic chip which comes with a 64-bit architecture, and powered by the six-core processor which has two high-performance cores and four high-efficiency cores. Also, A11 Bionic chip owns the dual-core neural engine; Currently, Apple is using these engine for its augmented reality feature sets.
The iPhone supports the much-discussed method of charging and it is wireless and fast charging. The company claims that iPhone X battery charges up to 50 percent in just 30 minutes and lasts two hours more from the earlier iPhones, which is useful for iPhone users as most of them share the issues of poor battery backup.
12 MP Dual Rear camera and 7 MP TrueDepth array camera both supporting Portrait Lighting and Portrait Mode. In the rear camera, the wide-angle lens will have a f/1.8 aperture; the telephoto lens will get a f/2.4 aperture. Both of the dual camera sensors come with optical image stabilisation. The iPhone X holds a quad LED two-tone flash unit between the two camera modules. The rear camera wonderfully shoots videos in 4K at 24fps, 30fps and 60fps and 1080p full HD videos at 30fps or 60fps. Also, users can shoot slo-mo videos at the FullHD resolution at a stumbling 240fps.
Price and Availability
Apple iPhone X will be available in two variants- 64GB and 256GB and the price will be 89,000 INR (USD 1391) and a whopping 102,000 INR (USD 1595) respectively.

This smartphone is water and dust resistant, stainless steel around the sides along with front and back body of glass which makes the device more durable.
And it was necessary to sustain in the term of market share. Apple’s event is being viewed as an opportunity for the Apple fans, stakeholders and investors because the company has made the innovative launches in past. It was much needed in the highly innovative smartphone market, where technology is getting keep advanced. However, this time no hardcore innovation is visible.
iPhone 8 and 8 Plus: At a Galance
Apple Inc. has also launched its tradition Apple iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 plus with improved processor, camera and display. The iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 plus both handsets are available in three colors- Space Gray, Silver and Gold. The 64GB variant is priced at Rs 64,000, while the 256GB variant will be priced at Rs 77,000. If you are a die-hard iPhone fan you might go with the top end, iPhone X. But if you are planning to upgrade from iPhone 7 model to iPhone 8 model. I will strictly suggest you go with the handset what you are currently having in your hand. As this time Apple hasn’t given so much in its iPhone 8 lineup, despite, improving processor and camera.
If you are currently using a budget phone and planning to upgrade to the premium segment. Nonetheless the point whether it would be with Android or iOS, you can also consider the recently launched Samsung Galaxy S8 series and the Note 8.
Concluding the opinion, I would like to suggest that buy the iPhone X only if you are using an iPhone 6s or lower. Also, if you can afford the price just for the looks.
