The Cupertino giant made available the iOS 10 beta 2 release for general users last week and soon after the launch, users have started reporting on Reddit about their locked Apple ID accounts.
The issue was faced by users with iOS beta 2 and Apple ID protected with two-step verification security. After account getting locked by the system, it prompted them to get it unlocked, however, the process didn’t complete and showed a message stating, “a server error.”
Users those who got locked with the Apple ID reached to the Apple support on Twitter (@AppleSupport) but the company said that they are unable to reset the passwords as the accounts are protected with two-step authentication security.
Hence, some users are recommending the iOS 10 beta 2 to disable the two-step verification process until the issue has been resolved.
Apple Inc. touted the next version of its iOS operating system as the “biggest iOS release ever.” The Apple iOS 10 delivers a slew of new features including quick interaction options with apps, a new lock screen with richer notifications, and raise to wake feature.
