On Monday, InFocus, the US-based tech giant has announced another smartphone in the BONGO series. Dubbed as Bingo 10, the pocket-friendly handset is touted as the world’s most affordable Marshmallow smartphone.
By focusing on youths between 15 to 24 years of age, InFocus Bingo 10 is priced at Rs. 4299.
“With InFocus Bingo 10, we want everyone to be able to get the taste of Marshmallow, which is still seen as a preserve of high-end smartphones. InFocus BINGO 10 is our endeavour to cater to the core needs of age group of 15-24 years and it perfectly complements their style quotient with attractive color frames and superior design quality,” said Sachin Thapar, country head, InFocus India, in a statement.
Bingo 10 is powered by a 1.3Ghz MediaTek Quad Core processor with 1GB RAM. The device also comes with an 8GB of inbuilt storage that is expandable up to 64 GB.
The Android smartphone features a 5MP rear camera with 4X digital zoom and LED flash. The front camera also sports the same 5MP camera with LED flash and face recognition abilities.
“For most smartphone users, the wait to own a device with latest Android operating system (OS) could be eternal. As per Google’s report, till date, only 2.3 percent of the Android smartphone is on Marshmallow,” Thapar added.
The InFocus Bingo 10 is backed by a 2000mAh battery and is available in White (with Green twist) and Black (with Blue Twist) colour variant. The smartphone will be available exclusively on Snapdeal from Monday onwards.
